This workshop is for those wishing to deepen their connection to themSelf and their inner voice, to reprogram limiting beliefs, and to explore the potentials that churn, awaiting within.
It is for those who know they are living a limited life and are feeling the pull to dive deep into what has been holding them back from the Highest, most expanded, whole and holy version of themselves.
It is for those who are looking for tools and techniques to bring into their daily lives to remind them of who they really are, and to assist them in the practice of shifting back into that more authentic state of BEing.
We will be exploring essential oils and a yoga nidra practice that is specifically designed to work with the programming and psychology of the chakras to uproot the weeds that have been taking up space and informing your life, and to plant new seeds, new programs, that will begin to re-direct your body-mind in how to function and how to be... more fully YOU.
The evening will begin with a mini Essential Oils Basics chat to give you a foundation of what essential oils are, how they work, and how they can support you in your life physically, mentally and emotionally. Within this discussion, we will talk about the subconscious mind, how we hold patterns, programs and limiting beliefs within our body-mind, how the chakras hold and store information from our development in childhood, and how we can use the powerful tools of essential oils and yoga nidra to move into balance and harmony with who we really are.
You will then get to make your own roller ball blend of beautiful Young Living Essential Oils that will be masterfully chosen to promote feelings of trust, support, grounding and embodiment. We will discuss the medical and emotional properties of each oil used. Once the blends are created, we will use them to set an intention for moving into the yoga nidra practice.
Yoga Nidra (meaning "conscious sleep" in Sanskrit) is a type of meditation, practiced laying down supported by pillows and blankets, that promotes deep rest and relaxation, bringing you to a state between asleep and awake. The use of a sankalpa (intention or affirmation) enhances the potency of this practice by setting the tone for the journey you will take. Yoga Nidra is a guided journey through the 4 layers of the body (the koshas), beginning with the most dense, moving towards the most light - physical, pranic, mental/emotional and ituitive/psychic. As we journey through the layers of self, the physical body may fall asleep and while the mind stays awake, which gives us access to reprogram limiting beliefs, or repetitive mental grooves (samskaras) that are no longer serving us. It is shown that just a half hour of yoga nidra gives the body the equivalent rest of 3 hours of deep sleep! No yoga or meditation experience is necessary for this practice, it is suitable (and just as powerful) for all levels of practitioners.
